Lincoln Street Studio is located at 162 Lincoln Street, Lunenburg, NS.

Street parking is available, please be mindful to come early as it can be limited, especially in the summer months. If you have any questions, please ask upon arrival, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Do you offer any introductory or beginner classes?

Yes! If you’re new, we recommend our 1-week intro offer to try out as many classes as possible. For true beginners, we suggest starting with Beginners Yoga, Candlelight Restore, Rise and Flow and The Community Class.

What should I wear to class?

For yoga or Pilates, wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for a full range of movement:

- Tops: Fitted or loose breathable tops like tank tops, t-shirts, or sports bras.

- Bottoms: Stretchy, non-restrictive pants or leggings.

- Layers: Consider bringing a light sweatshirt or long-sleeve shirt.

- Footwear: Classes are done barefoot, though grip socks are optional.

- Accessories:Bring a water bottle and a small towel; avoid excessive jewelry.

- Hair: Tie back long hair for focus and comfort.

- Mat: We have mats available for rent, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

We provide mats and props, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

How long are the classes?

Most classes are 45 to 60 minutes in length.

Is there a minimum age requirement to participate in classes?

Participants must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Do I need to have prior experience to participate in classes?

No prior experience is needed—just an open mind and willingness to participate!

Are there any health or physical requirements to participate in classes?

No, but please inform your instructor of any health concerns or physical limitations before class.

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant or have a medical condition?

Yes, but please let your instructor know of any limitations or if you are pregnant.

Do you offer private classes or personal training?

What is your cancellation policy for classes?

We ask that clients cancel their scheduled classes at least 4 hours in advance. If canceled within this period, there is no charge, and any credits will be returned.

Cancellations within 4 hours will incur a $10 fee, and any credits used will be forfeited. Our No Show fee is $15.

Exceptions may be made for emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for adhering to our cancellation policy.

Do you offer any discounts or promotions?

New clients can enjoy a one-month intro offer for $99 + tax, which includes unlimited class access to our schedule. Students receive a $99/month membership with a valid ID. Additional promotions and discounts are available throughout the year—stay tuned!

Studio Policies & Procedure Handbook

This handbook outlines the policies and procedures of Lincoln Street Studio to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all clients, employees, and instructors

Studio Fees:

All clients must pay the appropriate fees for each class or session before participating. Payment can be made via cash or debit/credit card.

Studio Attendance:

Please arrive on time for scheduled classes. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join, and no refunds will be issued.

Cancellation Policy:

Clients must cancel classes or sessions at least 4 hours in advance to receive a credit return. Cancellations within 4 hours of class will incur a $15 fee, with any credits forfeited. Exceptions due to emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis by studio management.

No Show Policy:

Clients must cancel at least 4 hours in advance. "No shows" will result in a $15 + tax fee, with any credits forfeited. Three or more no-shows on an unlimited membership will lead to a temporary freeze on the package until the balance is paid. Emergency situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Studio Etiquette

Arriving on Time:

We kindly ask you to arrive on time or 15 minutes before class. If late, please wait outside the studio until the instructor allows entry.

Keeping Our Space Clean:

Help maintain a clean space by wiping down your mat and props after class and disposing of garbage or recycling in designated bins.

Respecting Others' Space:

We aim to keep classes comfortable in size. If space permits, spread out to avoid crowding.

Honoring the Quiet Space:

Enter the studio quietly and keep conversations to a minimum. Some classes allow pre-class chatter, with a sign outside the door indicating the teacher's preference.

Turning off Electronics:

Please turn off or silence phones during class to avoid distractions.

Dress Code:

Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing for movement. Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or colognes.

Practicing Within Your Limits:

Listen to your body and practice within your limits, celebrating your unique practice.

Food/Drink Policy:

Please enjoy food in designated areas outside the studio. Only non-alcoholic, non-carbonated drinks in sealable containers are permitted in the studio to maintain a peaceful environment.

Studio Procedures

Client Registration:

Clients must complete a registration and waiver form before participating in any class.

Instructor Qualifications:

All instructors are certified with appropriate training in their field.

Safety Procedures:

The studio maintains safety equipment and protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.

Studio Maintenance:

The studio is cleaned and maintained regularly for a safe, welcoming space.

Studio Communication:

We prioritize clear, effective communication regarding schedule changes or important updates.

Studio Code of Conduct

Harassment Policy:

Lincoln Street Studio has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination. Violations will result in immediate action, potentially including termination of participation.

Alcohol and Drug Policy:

The use of drugs or alcohol on the premises is strictly prohibited. Any violations will result in the immediate removal of the individual from the premises.

Physical Contact Policy:

Physical contact between instructors and clients must be appropriate and professional. Inappropriate physical contact will lead to immediate corrective action.
